Service Guidelines 272 Ordering & Delivery Placing Orders • Purchase orders must be sent to Fypon by Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), fax (800.446.9373) or email (orders@fypon.com ) and should include the following: - A valid Fypon part number from the current price list. - Detailed part description. - Quantity ordered. - Unit of measure (each, etc.). - Net price. • Fypon will con fi rm all purchase orders with an order acknowledgement via EDI, unless the customer has opted not to receive acknowledgements. • Customers should review order acknowledgements carefully for accuracy. The customer is obligated to bring order acknowledgement discrepancies to the attention of their Customer Service Representative, and failure to do so may result in disallowance of a claim. • Ship date for each order is noted on the order acknowledgement. If the ship date changes for any reason, customers are noti fi ed via fax or email of the new ship date. Cancellations • Cancellation requests must be made via purchase order sent to Fypon by EDI, fax (800.446.9373) or email (orders@fypon.com ). • The cancellation request must reference either the customer purchase order number or Fypon order number, and the line item(s) to be cancelled. - Cancellation requests must be received within 24 hours from receipt of the order. - Fypon will con fi rm cancellations with an order cancellation acknowledgement via EDI, fax or email. • To service customers in our fi ve-day ship lead time, the 24-hour cancellation policy does not apply for custom and made-to-order parts. Once the order has been acknowledged, it cannot be returned. This includes, but is not limited to the following made-to-order products: custom parts; Board & Batten, Plank, Shaker-style and Modern Farmhouse Shaker-style shutters; beams; beam accessories; beam mantels; Craftsman Cove, Craftsman Step and Distinction crossheads; column wraps and Gable Pediments (Asher, Burmingham, Meier, Sullivan). Express Service Program • Have a customer that needs product faster? Fypon offers an express service that allows product to ship the next day. • Available inventory up to 20 pieces will be available for next-day shipping if orders are received prior to 1 p.m. EST. • The price of this express service is $75 for all Fypon customers. - The cost covers decreased lead time only — freight is not included. - Standard Fypon shipping policies still apply.
