Service Guidelines 274 Product Return Policies Freight Carrier Damage Claims In the event of damage, the following actions are appropriate: • Inspection must be made of each shipment upon delivery. Any damage to cartons or goods must be noted on the Bill of Lading (BOL) or Carrier Delivery Receipt (CDR) at the time of delivery and delivery should be refused. • Claims for loss must be fi led in writing via email, with a signed copy of the BOL or CDR noting damage, to fyponRGA@thermatru.com within one business day (24 hours) of delivery. Failure to do so may result in disallowance of a claim. Policy Returns • Requests for policy RGA must be made within six months of delivery of goods, and submitted in writing to fyponRGA@thermatru.com . • All requests for returned goods are subject to the following: - Goods must be received in good and original condition. - Goods must be in unbroken, original packaging. - Restocking fees: n 1 – 90 days: minimum 20% restocking fee. n 91 – 180 days: minimum 30% restocking fee. • Once the request has been approved, an RGA will be issued and the goods may be returned Freight Collect to the address designated on the RGA on a Fypon-approved carrier. • Upon receipt of returned goods, Fypon will inspect the goods and issue a credit contingent on meeting the requirements of the RGA process. • See Items Not Eligible for Returns or Credits for product that is not eligible for return. Items Not Eligible for Return or Credits • Product that has been installed, painted or in any way modi fi ed from the original shipped condition. • Custom or special order – including made-to-order parts. The made-to order product includes, but is not limited to the following products: Board & Batten, Plank, Shaker-style and Modern Farmhouse Shaker-style shutters; beams; beam accessories; beam mantels; Craftsman Cove, Craftsman Step and Distinction crossheads; gable pediments; and column wraps. • Discontinued products.
